Throughout the year, it carries out various actions aimed at strengthening socio-environmental, cultural and educational aspects, which contribute to improving the quality of life in the surrounding communities.
Among the main activities and works that have counted with the collaboration of DOCALSA, are:
• The Naranjo Dulce Basic School.
• The Enmanuel Basic School.
• The Pomier Basic School.
• Annual delivery of School Kits for children of employees and other local community members.
• Pomier Community Center.
• The Church of Naranjo Dulce.
• Pomier Police Detachment.
• Pomier Primary Health Care Center.
• Systems (pipelines, tanks and tubular wells) for water supply for the communities of Pomier, Naranjo Dulce, Carvajal and Enmanuel.
• Investment of more than eleven million pesos (RD$11,000,000.00) for the rehabilitation of the access road leading to Las Cuevas del Pomier.
• Constant contributions for the maintenance and road improvements of the neighboring communities, through the donation of materials and loan of heavy equipment.
